Access has been difficult over past weeks, but we hope that visitors will now return; just by the font is a new switch which allows visitors to superbly illuminate the Chancel, and the unique wall paintings, for a set time before automatically switching off. Do pop in and try it for yourself!

Our ancient & beautiful Church = and Churchyard - has been part of this village for over 750 years, and requires continuing care and maintenance; in April we discovered that the large West Window has ‘lead thinning’ , meaning that the small diamond shaped panes let the rain through, also some are cracked or missing. We have been fortunate enough to gain a grant from the Suffolk Historic Churches Trust for most of the cost, and proceeds from the ‘Clocks Talk’ in May will be added to the fund. Works will involve temporary wooden covers in place of the three main vertical panes; we will keep you updated!

We would be pleased to welcome extra helpers at the Church, just call the number below to discuss.
